The Piece

An oversized 100% ring-spun cotton T-shirt, handcrafted in the Himalayas of India and transformed with reclaimed Indian textiles.

Each piece features either hand-embroidered or reverse-appliquéd textile work, made entirely from upcycled Indian textile materials. While some designs may be repeated, the materials used will vary — and sometimes the same material may appear across different designs. No two pieces are exactly alike.

Measurements are taken flat. Please allow for minor variations due to the handcrafted nature of each piece.

A Note on Uniqueness

Because each piece is made using reclaimed textiles and finished by hand, minor variations, irregularities, and imperfections may occur. Differences in texture, colour, stitching, fading, or wear are natural characteristics of the materials and process — not flaws. They are part of what makes each Qala piece unique.

Care

• Machine wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle

• Use mild detergent

• Do not bleach

• Do not tumble dry

• Hang or lay flat to dry

• Iron inside out on low heat

• Avoid ironing directly over embroidered or appliquéd areas

• Wash with similar colours
